The whole point of a date night is to make love in a long and long meal. However, sometimes, the act of going to a restaurant is not as attractive as staying in a restaurant.

On those nights at home, you can still enjoy the city’s signature dishes with that special person. This is where Providoor’s sumptuous dinner for two comes in, allowing you to collaborate not only in the kitchen but also at the table. Just make sure to share it all the way, no matter how tempting the last bite is.

Manta's Lobster Risotto Bun ($150) A dinner for two made by Woolloomooloo's waterside seafood experts in Woolloomooloo. Delicious and fragrant risotto with chunks of lobster. Start with vibrant green pepper peas with garlic and chili, then with an arugula salad with grated Parmesan cheese, and share a homemade focaccia bread with fermented butter. Then dive into exquisite risotto, paired with your favorite wine. If you really want to go all out, you can choose an indulgent caviar box with crepes, mustard cream and chives.

Pipis Banquet for 2 from XOPP (US$138) XOPP showcased the world-famous XO sauce pipis, which was once the mainstay of the late golden century. XOPP allows this Cantonese seafood dish to be done at home. Put it on the silky vermicelli bed together with the crispy green onions. Thanks to the restaurant's homemade sauce, the fried fish roe in the wok is bright and bright. They are just the core of the banquet, including slow-roasted beef ribs with red pepper and spicy granny sauce, four-fold steamed shrimp dumplings, stir-fried mixed vegetables and eggs, and prawn spot Yangzhou fried rice.

Neil Perry's modern Australian banquet at Home ($170) The man behind Rockpool and other Sydney dining icons combined his high-end home cooking with his eponymous Providoor brand as a prelude to his newly opened Margaret. This grazing banquet highlights some of Perry’s favorite dishes, starting with buffalo mozzarella cheese, zucchini sofito and prawn cocktails. Roasted potatoes, vegetable salad and slow-cooked green beans round out the sides, but the hearty double anchors are Coppertree Farm beef slices, spiced butter and chicken alla cacciatore. Finally, make room for Perry's tiramisu.

Long Chim Maa Long Chim pescatarian Banquet (US$140) Attracting attention is the key to Long Chim chef David Thompson’s Thai street food, and this fish banquet absolutely loves bright green, orange and red. Seven individual dishes lead you to a comprehensive tour of the coastal towns in southern Thailand, knowing where to start can be tricky. But you really won't miss the highlights, including the prawn pad prik khing (a fried red curry) and the three-flavored spirit fish, which are known for retaining their lovely structure in stir-fries and curries.

Bambini Trust Vegetarian Set ($90) Nothing is more comfortable than Italian cooking, and Bambini Trust’s eggplant and cheese lasagna is particularly comforting, thanks to the combination of San Marzano tomato sauce, soft eggplant slices and creamy white Layered combination of sauces. This is the star attraction of this vegetarian feast, which also includes buffalo mozzarella salad piled high with cherry tomatoes, fresh green salad leaves from Darling Mills and Bambini's trademark (and ready-to-eat) tiramisu. Made with Kahlua and Single O coffee from Surry Hills, the latter is best paired with a cup of your favorite Muscat grape.
